A new baby and all those to come

My sweet friend just had a baby, yeah! I pray for health and rest for both of them and for the first few months to go as smoothly as possible. And for all those preggos, myself included, for safe, healthy pregnancies, deliveries and recoveries. God is good! So much life all around!

UPDATE... PLEASE KEEP This little one in your prayers, there are some complications and the little one needs some extra love sent. (and the momma and dadda)

UPDATE... SHE IS DOING BETTER, BUT STILL HAS SOME COMPLICATIONS. SHE DID COME HOME EARLIER THOUGH THAN EXPECTED.. YEAH!

Please guide him

Lord, please guide my husband in this time. Help him trust you that you know the plans for him. It can be so hard at times when we can't see much past our noses but you see all. Guide him in the way he should be spending his time, help him see clearly what it is you want him to do next. Help me support him as he seeks a career path that is pleasing to you. Bless him, dear lord, for these years of service to his children and let them not be lost years but ones that are doubled. Let employers/school officials not hold against him time he spend with our daughter but instead see the nobility of sacrificing years for her. Thank you lord for your love for him, and help him feel it more now as he struggles with this.

Out of the fields

My husband has a big interview today with a seminary. It would be great for him to have something that is 'his' that he can do. He has been so frustrated with his career, or lack of, as he puts it, and I am still trying to understand how differently men view work. And I was thinking last night about the curse and how I bet that's a big part of why it all gets screwed up for them, just like for us our relationships with men get screwed up. Not to mention how much child-birth stinks now. Still. I lift him up to you, you know exactly what he needs and when he needs it. But I hope this wilderness period is over for him and he can move onto the next thing. Thank you.
ANSWERED: INTERVIEW WENT WELL BUT SCHOOL DECLINED STILL...

Knit them and open her mouth

Father, you formed us in our mother's wombs, knit us together as you are knitting my second right now. Dear Lord, please knit well. Cover this new little one from head to toe in your goodness. Cover Kaiya in it as well. Open her mouth Lord so that she can talk, teach her words, the words she knows help them be more clear, and help her learn to speak in sentences. So she can praise you. Talk to others and make little friends. Teach us how to be parents, Father, as you are, and help us learn how to learn better for them.

UPDATE SHE IS TALKING MUCH BETTER. AT THE BIBLE CLUBS SHE EVEN SAID "GENESIS" YEAH

I turn my promotion over to you.

I keep struggling with this, Jesus, I really do. But you suffered so much worse. This is a small thing it really is. I think what sticks in me about it is it feels like you blessed me. You helped me do so well on my test and it feels like the enemy is behind keeping what I deserve from me. But maybe it's not about that. Maybe I need to just wait on you. And trust. Trust that you know what you are doing. And that you know the exact minute when I will promote and where I will end up and all of that. Like each hair on my head and what not. Help me wait. Help me turn this over to you.
ANSWERED: STATING THIS SUNDAY 4/24/09 I OFFICIALLY GET PROMOTED, YEAH!
