Please guide him

Lord, please guide my husband in this time. Help him trust you that you know the plans for him. It can be so hard at times when we can't see much past our noses but you see all. Guide him in the way he should be spending his time, help him see clearly what it is you want him to do next. Help me support him as he seeks a career path that is pleasing to you. Bless him, dear lord, for these years of service to his children and let them not be lost years but ones that are doubled. Let employers/school officials not hold against him time he spend with our daughter but instead see the nobility of sacrificing years for her. Thank you lord for your love for him, and help him feel it more now as he struggles with this.

Out of the fields

My husband has a big interview today with a seminary. It would be great for him to have something that is 'his' that he can do. He has been so frustrated with his career, or lack of, as he puts it, and I am still trying to understand how differently men view work. And I was thinking last night about the curse and how I bet that's a big part of why it all gets screwed up for them, just like for us our relationships with men get screwed up. Not to mention how much child-birth stinks now. Still. I lift him up to you, you know exactly what he needs and when he needs it. But I hope this wilderness period is over for him and he can move onto the next thing. Thank you.
ANSWERED: INTERVIEW WENT WELL BUT SCHOOL DECLINED STILL...
